Care South’s Talbot View Residential Home in Bournemouth is seeking an Activities Assistant to plan and deliver a continuing programme of social activities for residents, including those living with dementia. You will help run a diverse calendar of events, support wellbeing, and foster community within the home.

You are warm, energetic, and adaptable, with strong communication and time-management skills, essential for coordinating activities and supporting residents daily life.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of a varied programme of social and therapeutic activities for residents, including those living with dementia.
• Help plan and run a calendar of events to promote wellbeing and enjoyment.
• Observe residents' changing needs and raise concerns with the care team as appropriate.
• Assist during mealtimes to create a calm, sociable dining experience.
• Encourage residents to stay independent and participate actively in daily life.
