Darnford Rose Care Home is seeking a creative, compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our team. You’ll plan and deliver engaging activities that enhance residents’ quality of life, promoting wellbeing, independence and social connection.

We offer a full-time role, 37.5 hours per week, with a competitive hourly rate of £14.20. You’ll work closely with the Home Manager and volunteers to tailor programmes for older people, including those living with dementia, and share updates through

Qualifications

• Experience planning and delivering activities or wellbeing programmes.
• Experience working with older people in a care/home setting preferred.
• Ability to plan a varied programme of activities that suits individual needs.

Responsabilités

• Plan, organise and deliver a varied programme of meaningful activities for residents.
• Create engaging group and one-to-one activities that promote wellbeing.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, volunteers and community groups.
• Maintain records of activities and participation.
• Contribute to newsletters, displays and social media showcasing life in the home.
