Job summary

Larchwood Care Homes Limited in Braintree, Essex, is seeking an Activities Coordinator to enhance daily life through meaningful and person-centred activities for Residents, including those living with dementia. You will plan and deliver group and 1:1 activities tailored to individual interests, building strong relationships with Residents, families and the wider care team.

Training and support are provided, with opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• Creative, organised and enthusiastic approach to activities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging activities.
• Genuine interest in supporting older people.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in activities or related roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a varied programme of group and one-to-one activities.
• Build relationships to understand preferences and support participation.
• Work as part of the wider team to create a positive environment.
• Receive training and support to develop in the role.
