Job summary

Cyngor Sir Ceredigion County Council is seeking an Employment & Skills Engagement Officer – Lifelong Learning and Skills in Aberystwyth. The role leads engagement with employers, communities and multi-agencies to support employability and progression for adults and young people.

You will coordinate outreach, events and marketing, analysing data to ensure provision meets local labour market needs. A degree in marketing/PR or 4+ years of relevant experience is required, with Welsh fluency on

Qualifications

• Degree level in marketing or public relations or over 4 years’ demonstrable experience at equivalent level.
• Good understanding of UK Government and Welsh Government projects or funding for employment support, post-16 education or training.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, coordination and delivery of employer, community and multi-agency engagement activity across Lifelong Learning and Skills.
• Strengthen partnerships that support employability, learning and progression pathways for adults and young people in Ceredigion.
• Drive engagement through targeted outreach, events, marketing and data-informed approaches to increase participation and improve learner and employer experiences.
