Job summary

Codurance is looking for an Engagement Manager to help build and lead teams in London or Manchester. You will manage client relationships, liaise with stakeholders, and drive value across diverse projects while collaborating with BD and marketing on proposals.

The role supports developing Codurance’s delivery capability and culture, with a hybrid work model. You will work across projects to ensure client and team happiness, identify opportunities, and manage risks to deliver results.

Job description

We are looking for an Engagement Manager who shares the same values of pragmatism, professionalism and transparency as us, to join and help build our teams in London or Manchester.

We support our clients in many ways, and you will have the opportunity to manage and liaise with stakeholders across a wide range of different client projects. This may be a greenfield project for a startup or helping to build a mission-critical system for a large enterprise client. Your main responsibilities will include working across a number of projects to ensure that both the client and our people are happy and that we are delivering value effectively.

You will also be involved in areas across Codurance, including working with the business development and marketing teams to contribute to proposals, and assisting with building our internal engagement management/delivery capability and culture.

Location: We are open to this role being hybrid. Please note that we are not able to offer visa sponsorship at this time.

• Client engagement: You are able to actively build relationships with strategic stakeholders within the client, acting as an advisor and partner in helping them identify and solve problems. You are good at helping people come up with a vision and helping them get aligned behind it
• Account Development: You are able to identify opportunities to further our relationships with clients to build the business and ensure commercial success
• Project management: You have a proven track record of executing and planning a technical or product strategy, and identifying and managing risks
• Experience working with dependencies between teams. We often work on projects with multiple teams working on a product and so it is important for our Engagement Managers to be able to understand how to get the best results out of these type of team set-ups, and also navigate any challenges that may arise
• Communication and leadership: Versatility in leadership and communication styles is key for a role like this. Facilitation skills are a key part of this job
• Learning and growth mindset: You enjoy helping teams and people to grow by coaching, mentoring and teaching. You like constantly learning and sharing that learning with others around you
