Job summary

Lancaster University is seeking an Engagement Fundraising Officer for a maternity cover role in the Philanthropy, Alumni and Supporter Engagement team. Located in Bailrigg, Lancaster, the role focuses on driving the Annual Fund and Community Fundraising, crafting campaigns to inspire alumni and supporters and developing opportunities to engage the local community.

Salary: £33,002 to £37,694 full time, fixed term

Lancaster University is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Engagement Fundraising Officer to join our Philanthropy, Alumni and Supporter Engagement team on a maternity cover basis.

You’ll play a key role in delivering our Annual Fund and Community Fundraising programmes, developing creative fundraising campaigns and communications that inspire alumni, supporters and the local community to support Lancaster.

Working closely with colleagues across the University, you’ll help identify fundraising opportunities, develop compelling cases for support, deliver fundraising campaigns and build strong relationships with supporters. You’ll also contribute to donor stewardship and help ensure that fundraising activity is well planned, effective and compliant.

We’re looking for someone with experience in fundraising or supporter engagement, who is creative, organised and confident managing projects and developing relationships.
