Financial Conduct Authority is seeking an Enforcement Investigator to join the Enforcement & Market Oversight division. You will manage a portfolio of investigations, progress cases to deadlines, obtain and analyse evidence, draft legal papers, and engage with witnesses and subjects.

Job Title: Enforcement Investigator Division: Enforcement & Market Oversight Department: Retail and Regulatory Investigations Salary: London ranging from £47,300 to £61,000 and National (Edinburgh and Leeds) ranging from £43,100 to £55,000 (salary offered will be based on skills and experience) This role is graded as: Associate - Level 8 - Regulatory 3 available vacancies: 2 permanent and 1 fixed term contract for 12 months - these will be distributed at Hiring Manager discretion

Enforcement & Market Oversight (EMO) is responsible for the FCA's responsibilities for market monitoring, delivery of the functions of the UK Listing Authority (UKLA) and the investigation and prosecution of misconduct using the whole spectrum of criminal, civil and administrative sanctions and remedies against firms and individuals. Retail and Regulatory Investigations (RRI) investigates potential misconduct by regulated firms and individuals working within those firms, involved in retail banking, stockbroking, asset management, mortgage broking and lending, insurance intermediation, financial advice, consumer credit and payment services. We take action against firms that sell unsuitable products or services to consumers, mishandle client money and assets, or have governance and systemic issues. We also investigate financial crime matters including fraud and misconduct related to AML systems and controls.
