Job summary

Stockport Council is seeking an Enforcement, Compliance and Highways DM Manager to lead the Enforcement and Highways DM team, guide junior officers and manage a caseload of complex cases from Stopford House. You will deliver timely, high-quality decisions and provide professional advice to residents and partners.

Qualifications

• Chartered RTPI member with extensive Development Management experience.
• Experience guiding and mentoring junior officers.
• Ability to handle complex applications and negotiate in a political environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage own caseload of complex or sensitive cases and deliver high-quality decisions.
• Guide and support junior officers and foster a collaborative team.
• Provide professional advice to residents, colleagues and partners.
