Job summary

LiveWest is seeking an Enforcement Officer - Compliance to provide proactive enforcement across South Gloucestershire, Bristol, Bath, Somerset and surrounding areas. You will manage no access cases, liaise with external agencies, prepare legal documentation, and deliver enforcement actions including possession orders and injunctions.

The role is field-based with a 37-hour week and hybrid working across LiveWest offices, including Exeter; full UK work rights are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in social housing, compliance, enforcement or a legal-related profession.
• Experience managing complex enforcement cases and achieving targets.
• Knowledge of landlord and tenant legislation and social housing good practice.
• Experience dealing with breaches of tenancy or no access cases.
• Strong communication and customer service skills for challenging situations.
• Experience representing or presenting cases in a legal/formal setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve no access cases, working with colleagues and customers to achieve positive outcomes.
• Liaise with external agencies and stakeholders to support compliance and enforcement activities.
• Prepare legal documentation and represent the organisation in court proceedings when required.
• Deliver enforcement actions including possession proceedings, injunctions and other legal remedies.
• Provide advice and support to colleagues on case management and enforcement best practice.
• Resolve complaints professionally, ensuring a positive customer experience.
