Job summary

Bristow & Sutor is recruiting Enforcement Agents to cover the Southern Counties, including Guildford, Crawley, Tunbridge Wells and Maidstone. The role offers a basic salary of £26,441–£28,460 with potential earnings of £40,000–£65,000 and a company car with a fuel card.

You will work to recoveries and support customers within the debt resolution process. Ideal candidates are motivated, have strong communication and negotiation skills, a full UK driving licence, and a clean criminal record.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence and ability to drive to meet targets.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers' homes and businesses.
• Negotiate to maximise recoveries.
• Take payments, set up arrangements and assist with income questionnaires.
• Take control of goods when necessary, following regulations.
• Maintain accurate case notes and payment records.
• Identify vulnerability and refer appropriately.

What you will do

• Visit customers' homes and businesses
• Negotiate professionally and confidently to maximise successful recoveries
• Take payments, set up arrangements and help customers complete an income questionnaire
• Take control of goods when there's no other option, always following the regulations
• Maintain accurate case notes, visit reports, and payment records
• Identify and support customer vulnerability by recognising signs of hardship, adapting your approach and ensuring appropriate referral pathways are followed
