Job summary

Murphy is recruiting for a Project Manager to work with Energy on the HWUP Project. This role focuses on delivering multi-discipline EPC activities safely, on time and to budget.

You will lead site teams, manage client relationships, and control contract programmes, resources and costs to maximise gross margin. Murphy offers generous holidays, a discretionary bonus and strong development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering HV Transmission & Distribution or Major Civils projects.
• Experience within a Project Managerial role.
• HNC / HND or NVQ Level 5 (or Degree)
• Experience on complex multi-discipline Enhancement projects focusing on programme and cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects safely, on time, and to budget per contract requirements.
• Set project standards and ensure requirements are identified and delivered.
• Manage contract programmes, resources and materials.
• Line manage Site Managers, Assistant Site Managers and Section Managers.
• Maintain effective client relationships and provide progress updates to stakeholders.
• Oversee all commercial activities, cost control, and gross margin performance.
• Ensure subcontractors meet performance targets and cost controls.
