Murphy is seeking a Construction Manager to lead energy-related major civils projects from Norwich to Tilbury. You will oversee construction teams, coordinate constructability input, and ensure resources meet project needs while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have major civils delivery experience, strong leadership skills, and a track record in stakeholder management. A degree or equivalent NVQ5 is preferred, with a commitment to development and operational

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Major Civils projects.
• Experience in a Construction Manager role or similar.
• HNC / HND or NVQ Level 5 (or Degree)
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• A true leader with passion for people development.

Responsibilities

• Overall management of project teams during construction and installation.
• Coordinate constructability input during solutions development.
• Allocate construction staff based on skills and workload.
• Liaise with Project Managers to size the resource pool.
• Manage construction resources including Labour, Plant and Materials.
• Oversee subcontractor performance against schedules and budgets.
• Ensure CDM duties are discharged and quality procedures followed.
• Interface with functional leaders to drive project execution.
