Zusammenfassung

Murphy is recruiting for a Senior Engineer to work with Energy on the GGP - ATNC project from Norwich to Tilbury. The role focuses on health, safety and environmental leadership, temporary works oversight and coordination across client, designer and supply chain.

You will oversee setting out, materials, risk assessments and daily diary maintenance, ensuring ITPs and PMP requirements are met while maintaining strong cross-disciplinary communication.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in Construction or Civil Engineering projects.
• Experience within ITPs, RAMs & Temporary Works.
• Excellent knowledge of Health, Safety & Environmental legislation.
• Ability to discuss engineering issues with diverse teams.

Aufgaben

• Establish and promote best practice in health, safety and environmental matters in conjunction with the SHQE department.
• Assist with temporary works design schemes.
• Maintain good working relations with client/designer/Team and supply chain.
• Advise engineers on setting out methods and techniques.
• Ensure drawings and specs have sufficient information for construction and request missing details promptly.
• Communicate with foremen and supervisors to ensure understanding of information.
• Oversee selection and requisition of materials and plant for construction.
• Prepare written risk assessments and method statements for control of the works.
• Keep a full daily site diary with changes, subcontractors and discussions.
• Ensure inspection and test plans are completed as per PMP/Specification and check dimensions.
