Energy Solicitor (Partner) - Birmingham

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Energy Solicitor with 8+ years PQE to join a Top 50 law firm in Birmingham. This is a leading opportunity to help build and lead the energy department within the firm.

Responsibilities

1. Lead and develop the energy department, working with both public and private sector clients.
2. Handle a diverse range of energy and infrastructure projects, including solar, wind, heat networks, battery storage, PPAs, tidal energy, EfW, EV charging, and carbon capture/storage.
3. Build and maintain client relationships within Birmingham to facilitate team growth.
4. Supervise and mentor junior colleagues.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years PQE with a leading law firm.
• Experience in various energy projects mentioned above.
• Strong client relationship skills.
• Leadership and mentoring abilities.
