Job summary

ALTEN UK is seeking a Project Director to own and grow a portfolio of complex, fixed-price engineering programmes, typically spanning 80–120 engineers. You will lead safety, quality, cost, schedule, scope, risk and margin while steering Technical Direction for the Energy sector.

You will establish a delivery organisation, hold senior leaders to account and drive sustainable growth through disciplined governance, capability building and risk management across critical programmes.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership of complex engineering programmes or portfolios in a regulated environment.
• Proven delivery of fixed-price projects with strong commercial discipline.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Own mobilisation, baselining, delivery, change, recovery and closure across the portfolio.
• Lead governance forums and ensure delivery against plans, cost, risk and quality.
• Develop energy sector capability and succession planning within ALTEN UK.
