Job summary

Inspired is seeking a Risk Manager to join the Risk team on a home-based basis with regular travel to our Manchester office. You will lead hedging strategies, monitor performance, and coordinate with internal teams to meet client risk objectives.

The role requires strong numerical and analytical skills, energy markets knowledge, and experience with risk management systems. Applicants should hold a STEM degree and a UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience in the energy industry and energy commodity markets.
• Strong numerical and analytical capabilities with a good academic background.
• Proficiency with Excel and familiarity with energy trading tools.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers regularly to discuss performance and hedging strategy.
• Develop frameworks to deliver customers' strategic objectives.
• Coordinate with Inspired divisions to support risk objectives.
• Monitor hedging performance and improve reporting and decision-making.
• Understand end-to-end product lifecycle from pricing to billing.
• Manage operational and regulatory risks and escalate as needed.
• Ensure information systems maintain accurate, secure records.
