Job summary

Murphy is recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to work on an Energy project in North London. The role focuses on commercial reporting, valuations, and subcontract administration across EPC delivery for transmission and distribution projects.

You will prepare and manage procurement schedules, financial reporting, and final accounts while identifying risks and opportunities to optimize value. The position requires Chartered status or progress toward it and NEC/MSOM expertise.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial role (Assistant QS or QS)
• Registered with RICS/ICES and working towards chartership
• Excellent knowledge of NEC contracts and MSOM

Responsibilities

• Assist internal commercial reporting and other required reports.
• Prepare valuations for payment with contract documentation.
• Manage subcontract and material procurement schedules and accounts.
• Administer subcontractor payments and final accounts.
• Identify commercial risks, opportunities, value engineering and change.
