Job summary

Leicester City Council is recruiting two full-time Energy Projects Officers to join our new Leicester Energy Hub. Based at the city centre premises, you will provide energy efficiency advice to residents and businesses and help manage energy projects and bids.

You will work 37 hours per week, on-site, with opportunities to engage at events and community outreach, building relationships across the city while supporting Net Zero ambitions.

Qualifications

• Experience in energy efficiency or retrofit field; ability to prepare statistics and reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face, phone and outreach energy advice to residents and businesses.
• Assist with development and delivery of energy projects, including identifying funding and bids.
• Keep records, assess applications and produce reports on progress and outcomes.
• Represent the Hub at events and outreach sessions to raise the service profile.
