Job summary

Clarke Energy is seeking a seasoned Process Safety Engineer to deliver process safety engineering across diverse energy projects in the UK and internationally. You will identify hazards, perform risk assessments, and develop safety documentation to ensure compliant, safe project delivery.

Work with multidisciplinary teams to embed safety throughout the project lifecycle, support incident investigations, and drive continuous improvement in safety performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field and evidence of process safety expertise.
• Experience leading HAZOP/LOPA studies and risk assessments.
• Familiarity with COMAH/ATEX regulations and safety case development.

Responsibilities

• Lead hazard identification and risk assessments across projects.
• Develop and promote process safety management practices.
• Produce safety studies, risk assessments, and operating procedures.
