Job summary

Severn Trent Water is seeking an energetic Energy Project Manager to join the Tactical Asset Planning team in Coventry or at an operational site. The role is 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and focuses on reducing energy consumption across wastewater, clean water and property assets.

You will lead energy improvement initiatives, develop business cases and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to deliver measurable cost and carbon savings. A science/engineering background is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Strong background in planning and managing M&E projects, contractor management and stakeholder engagement.
• Understanding of asset performance and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and deliver energy efficiency projects across assets.
• Lead energy optimisation programmes to improve asset performance and efficiency.
• Develop business cases and investment proposals for energy savings.
• Collaborate with internal teams, contractors and stakeholders to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Manage project governance, contracts and performance to realise benefits.
