Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Project Controls Consultant to lead planning, integration and control of large energy projects. You will guide project teams, mentor juniors, and apply strong technical and commercial judgement across the full lifecycle.

Key requirements include a degree or equivalent, proven leadership in project controls, excellent communication, and proficiency with Excel, Office 365, Power BI or Tableau. You will work with stakeholders to deliver robust reporting and data governance.

Qualifications

• Degree, HND or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven ability to lead project controls delivery with limited supervision.
• Strong communication skills with confidence in engaging client teams.
• Understanding of project or programme management, design, engineering or construction environments.
• Strong IT skills, particularly Excel and Office 365.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, integration and control of complex energy projects across the full lifecycle.
• Review data, schedules, and forecasting activities.
• Design, implement and improve project control systems and governance.
• Manage project information strategies within Common Data Environments.
• Support risk management activities including modelling.
• Oversee cost control processes: budget, forecasting, earned value.
• Facilitate planning sessions and workshops to align delivery teams.
• Provide portfolio-level insight through reporting and dashboards.
• Champion digital tools and analytics to inform decisions.
• Manage change control with documentation and governance.
• Build relationships with internal teams and stakeholders.
