We are seeking a talented Principal Consultant/Associate to join our team, focusing on technical and commercial due diligence in the energy sector. This role offers the chance to work across diverse infrastructure asset classes, including transport technologies and core-plus infrastructure, supporting high-profile transactions and strategic advisory projects.

Your role will include:

• Delivering technical and commercial due diligence for investors, lenders, and developers in the energy sector (including renewables, CCUS, hydrogen, and emerging technologies).
• Supporting cross-sector advisory projects across transport and infrastructure, applying analytical and commercial expertise.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and technical specialists across WSP's global network to deliver high-quality outputs.
• Contributing to the development of methodologies, tools, and best practices within the team.
• Potentially traveling overseas for projects, typically 2–3 day trips for kick-offs, site visits, or final presentations during a 4–6 week project.

What we will be looking for you to demonstrate…

• Experience in infrastructure advisory, ideally within energy or transport sectors.
• Background in a leading engineering consultancy, accountancy firm, or advisory firm.
• Strong understanding of project finance, investment appraisal, and risk analysis.
• Experience managing complex assignments and workstreams under tight deadlines.
• Collaborative mindset and versatility across sectors and disciplines.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Passion for sustainable infrastructure and supporting the energy transition.
