Qualifications

Are you passionate about helping businesses harness the power of Intelligent Information Management (IIM)? Do you thrive on solving complex challenges and guiding customers toward the right solutions?

We're looking for a Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant to join our Solution Design team, specialising in Enterprise Content Management, Capture, and Workflow solutions. You'll play a vital role in shaping tailored solutions for our customers, working closely with IIM Sales, Account Managers, and our wider sales teams.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a consultative approach to sales, balancing long-term strategic projects with quick wins. You'll have the opportunity to build strong relationships, craft detailed Solution Design documents, and provide expert technical guidance—all while helping customers navigate their digital transformation journey.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Understanding Customer Needs – Work closely with clients to uncover their technical and business challenges, offering expert advice on IIM solutions.
  • Crafting Smart Solutions – Design tailored Enterprise Content Management, Capture, and Workflow solutions that meet customer goals.
  • Building Business Cases – Help customers see the value of our solutions by developing ROI models and compelling business cases.
  • Bringing Solutions to Life – Create detailed Solution Design documents, including use cases, technical diagrams, and deployment strategies.
  • Being a Trusted Advisor – Guide customers through the solution design process, sometimes challenging their initial ideas to find the best fit.
  • Ensuring Profitability – Manage the commercial aspects of solutions, ensuring a balance between customer needs and business success.
  • Collaborating Across Teams – Work closely with sales, implementation, and support teams to ensure smooth handovers and great customer experiences.
  • Keeping Ahead of the Curve – Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our solutions.

What You Bring

  • Experience in a pre-sales or technical consulting role, ideally focused on IIM solutions.
  • A consultative approach to sales—helping customers focus on value, not just price.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Enterprise Content Management, Capture, Workflow, and Unified Communications.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex solutions in a way that resonates with different audiences.
  • A natural ability to build relationships and be seen as a trusted partner.
  • Problem-solving skills, curiosity, and a proactive mindset—you don't just spot challenges, you find solutions.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects, juggle priorities, and thrive in a collaborative environment.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have!)

  • Understanding of Project Management methodologies.
  • Awareness of sales processes and business challenges.
  • Experience with process mapping and business process optimisation
