Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking an experienced Energy Portfolio Manager to lead management of large customer energy portfolios and oversee a team of Portfolio Analysts. The role emphasizes data accuracy, supplier relationships, and delivering reliable insights.

You will coordinate changes across estates, sites, meters and suppliers, handle escalations, and produce contractual reports while engaging stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

• Proven track record building long-term relationships with stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of UK energy markets, transmission and distribution frameworks, and policies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior stakeholders.
• Highly organised with analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of strategic energy portfolios and oversee a team of Portfolio Analysts.
• Maintain accurate portfolio data by coordinating estate, site, meter and supplier changes.
• Resolve customer queries and data requests with timely responses.
• Oversee the production and delivery of contractual reports and insights for energy spend management.
• Build strong customer relationships through regular calls, meetings and stakeholder engagement.
