Job summary

Veolia Energy & Utility Services UK Limited in Speke is seeking an experienced Electrical or Mechanical Engineer to join our on-site operations team for industrial utilities equipment, including Gas Turbines, Boilers and Water Treatment plants.

You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, monitor performance using SCADA PMS systems, ensure full compliance with health, safety, quality and Environment legislation, and work a 12-hour shift pattern with rest days.

Qualifications

• Engineering time served apprenticeship or HNC/ONC or equivalent in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering.
• Maritime experience would be advantageous.
• Gas Turbine and Gas/Boiler plant experience beneficial.
• Safety culture and PID/ISA knowledge desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on Gas Turbines, Boilers and Utilities plant.
• Monitor and analyse plant performance using computerised maintenance systems (SCADA/ PMS).
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental legislation and site rules.
• Support fault diagnosis on electrical LV/HV control and power circuits.
• Maintain plant quality records and reports.
