LCP, an award-winning actuarial and analytics consultancy, invites you to join Energy Modelling & Technology Development Graduate Programme in September 2027. You’ll join LCP Delta’s energy team, coding in C#, to help develop cutting-edge energy modelling and data integration.

You’ll work with a large group of modellers and developers, tackling projects like Enact and STOREcast, solving real-world energy data problems and applying mathematical optimisation and ML techniques.

Qualifications

• A Level Maths (A grade) is required.
• Degree educated with a minimum 2:1 in a numerical subject or currently studying and on track for a 2:1.
• Some prior coding experience, self-taught or through structured learning.
• Competence with Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Strong problem-solving, numeracy and analytical abilities.
• Good communication and an interest in the energy transition.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain energy modelling software and data integrations.
• Solve real-world problems using mathematical, statistical and ML techniques.
• Maintain and improve existing models and internal/external software.
• Follow modern software development practices including testing, reviews, branching and merging.
• Develop knowledge of the GB energy market and possibly Europe.
• Expand skills through regular training.
