Job summary

Lane Clark & Peacock LLP (LCP) is launching an Energy Modelling & Technology Development Graduate Programme in London for September 2027. You will join LCP Delta, a team of modellers and software developers working on cutting-edge energy modelling and data integration projects, including Enact and STOREcast.

You will gain hands-on experience coding in C#, tackling real energy data problems, and learning modern development practices while exploring GB and European energy markets.

Qualifications

• Degreeed or studying for degree with aim of 2:1 (numerical subject)
• A Level Maths achieved
• Technology skills with some coding experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis
• Strong problem solving, numeracy and analytical capabilities
• Interest in energy transition and topical issues

Responsibilities

• Build knowledge in C# and develop coding with increasing independence
• Apply mathematical, statistical and ML techniques to real energy problems
• Maintain and improve existing models and software
• Engage with modern software development practices (code reviews, testing)
• Develop knowledge of GB energy markets and Europe
• Analyse complex energy data and patterns
• Continue learning through training programs
