Job summary

British Gas is offering a Metering apprentice program where you will learn to explain and support customers, visit homes in your local area, and develop hands-on skills while gaining recognised qualifications. You’ll be supported by experienced engineers and receive structured training at our four UK academies.

Qualifications

• 4 GCSEs, ideally including Maths & English, at grade C/4 or above or a recognised equivalent.
• A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Availability to attend training at one of our four UK academies with accommodation and travel provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Learn to explain, reassure and support customers about energy use.
• Visit homes in your local area to help people feel comfortable with new technology.
