Job summary

Tokio Marine HCC International in London is seeking a Senior Underwriter to lead underwriting and development of the Marine & Energy Liability (MEL) portfolio, with a focus on Energy Liability. You will underwrite new and renewal MEL business with brokers and internal stakeholders, driving profitable growth and portfolio alignment.

Qualifications

• Five years' energy liability underwriting experience in Lloyd's/international markets.
• Strong technical knowledge of energy liability, exposures, pricing methodologies and policy coverages.
• Experience with broker relationships and developing new business opportunities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Power BI experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewal MEL business through Lloyd’s and the Company within authority and guidelines.
• Lead energy liability business development across Upstream, Midstream, Downstream, Power, Renewables and related sectors.
• Assess and price complex risks, including exposures, loss experience and contractual arrangements.
• Support MEL underwriting strategy and portfolio performance analysis.
