Zusammenfassung

Tokio Marine HCC is seeking a Senior Underwriter to manage and develop the Marine & Energy Liability (MEL) portfolio, with a focus on Energy Liability. You will underwrite new and renewal MEL business, build relationships with brokers and clients, and contribute to portfolio strategy and business planning.

The role requires strong technical underwriting judgment, commercial awareness, and the ability to identify profitable opportunities across the Energy sector.

Qualifikationen

• Five years’+ Energy Liability underwriting experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Lloyd’s and international (re)insurance markets.
• Broad understanding of Energy segments: Upstream, Midstream, Downstream, Power, Renewables, Drilling & Services Contractors, onshore/offshore construction.
• Knowledge of North American and international markets and networks.
• Excellent broker relationships and ability to originate new business.
• Strong negotiation and underwriting decision-making abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office; Power BI is advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Underwrite new and renewal MEL business through Lloyd’s and the Company within authority, guidelines and Business Plan.
• Lead development of Energy Liability business (Upstream, Midstream, Downstream, Power, Renewables, Drilling & Services).
• Assess and price complex risks including exposures, loss experience and policy terms.
• Contribute to MEL underwriting strategy and Portfolio planning for profitability and balance.
• Analyze portfolio performance, identify trends and underwriting actions.
• Develop broker relationships and identify profitable new opportunities.
• Represent and promote the business with brokers, clients and stakeholders.
• Present risks at Peer Review and contribute to technical underwriting discussions.
• Collaborate with Claims, Actuarial, Exposure Management and other teams.
