Zusammenfassung

AXA XL is seeking an Underwriter for Energy Liability in Greater London. You will underwrite within authority, monitor exposures, premiums, and reinsurance, and support planning and settlement decisions. The role emphasizes profitability, client and broker liaison, and collaboration with internal teams.

You will report to the Underwriting Manager, Energy Liability - UK and Lloyd's, and engage across the energy sector to design and structure risk placements.

Aufgaben

• Review submissions to determine risk level for each account.
• Calculate risk premium considering risk costs, reinsurance, and costs to ensure profitability.
• Advise and service clients on insurance and risk management matters.
• Manage relationships to enable cross-selling and account retention.
• Ensure timely implementation of new/renewed accounts per quality standards.
• Determine appropriate reinsurance for risk placements (excess of loss and quota share).
• Review loss control reports and process endorsements.
• Support planning/forecasting; monitor exposure and premium income within limits.
• Maintain awareness of claims and assist in settlements.
• Collaborate with underwriting assistants and management.
