Job summary

Act on Energy is recruiting an Interventions Manager who will oversee domestic energy efficiency and retrofit programmes across the West Midlands. You will lead the Interventions Team, manage programme delivery, ensure funding compliance and build strong relationships with authorities, contractors and funders.

The role requires strategic thinking, project leadership and the ability to manage multiple programmes while delivering excellent customer outcomes and meeting contractual targets.

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing projects or programmes within housing, retrofit, energy efficiency, sustainability or a related sector.
• Experience leading, supervising or managing staff and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and programme delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience working alongside local authorities, contractors and partner organisations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the Interventions Team to deliver high-quality services and achieve programme objectives.
• Provide day-to-day management, supervision, coaching and performance management of team members.
• Develop and monitor project delivery plans, budgets, milestones, risks and performance indicators.
• Ensure programmes are delivered on time, within budget and in accordance with contractual requirements.
• Prepare reports for senior management, funders and external stakeholders.
