Job summary

Electus Recruitment Solutions is seeking a on-site, permanent full-time contracts professional near Abingdon, focused on procurement and supplier management within energy infrastructure.

You will own contracts, coordinate procurement, negotiate terms, and report to senior stakeholders, with occasional travel. The role offers a clear path to broaden commercial experience and influence project delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in contract management, procurement, or supplier management.
• Knowledge of NEC4 ECC arrangements and practical application.
• Experience supporting procurement processes, tender evaluations and supplier negotiations.
• Strong commercial awareness balancing risk, cost, and compliance.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills to explain commercial issues to stakeholders.
• Experience in energy, infrastructure, utilities, construction or related industries is advantageous.
• 3–5 years in relevant roles.
• Proven ability to manage contracts throughout lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Support full customer contracting process, co-ordinate agreements through governance routes.
• Plan and manage procurement activities from requirements to tender evaluation and recommendation.
• Negotiate terms with suppliers and subcontractors balancing risk and delivery objectives.
• Manage supplier contracts through delivery, performance reviews, renewals and close out.
• Be the point of contact for contract queries, approvals and stakeholder communications.
• Support cost control, forecasting, PO management and variation tracking.
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement and contracting processes and governance.
• Provide updates to senior stakeholders on contract status and risks.
