J Murphy & Sons Limited seeks a Construction Manager to lead energy-related major civils/cable projects in the UK, managing project teams through construction and handover. You will coordinate constructability inputs, allocate skilled staff, and ensure resource adequacy across Labour, Plant and Materials while partnering with Project Managers to deliver safe, on-time outcomes.

The role requires a proactive leader with strong stakeholder management, drive for people development, and willingness

Qualificações

• Experience delivering major civils projects or cable projects.
• Experience in a Construction Manager role or similar.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• A true leader with passion for people development and innovation.
• Must be able to drive and be happy to travel.

Responsabilidades

• Overall management of project teams during construction and installation.
• Co-ordination of constructability input during solution development.
• Allocation of construction staff based on experience and skills.
• Liaises with Project Managers to ensure appropriate resource pool.
• Manage construction resources including Labour, Plant and Materials.
• Performance management of subcontractors.
• Ensure teams meet schedules and budgets.
• Oversee CDM duties and quality procedures.
• Interface with functional leaders to drive project progression.
