Job summary

Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking a Climate Ready advisor within the Healthy Green Homes team to support the SCRAP project. You will provide detailed 1-2-1 advice to residents on energy retrofit measures and funding opportunities.

The role involves outreach at events, home visits, and telephone advice, plus accurate record keeping and handling sensitive data. Training will be provided on current legislation, grants, and Government policies.

Qualifications

• Experience providing advice and support to the public.

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed 1-2-1 advice on home energy retrofit options and funding opportunities.
• Apply for funding on behalf of vulnerable clients to enable retrofit works.
• Maintain accurate records and handle sensitive data in line with policy.
