Job summary

VHR Global Technical Recruitment is seeking an accomplished Energy Efficiency Sales Engineer to drive specification and sales growth for energy efficiency, power quality, and energy monitoring solutions across the UK and Ireland.

The role targets Data Centre, Colocation, Enterprise, and Commercial/Industrial markets, blending technical acumen with robust account development and channel partnerships. Travel will be extensive across the region.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years' technical sales experience in energy management, metering, or power quality solutions.
Proven success selling into Data Centre and Commercial/Industrial sectors.
Strong knowledge of LV electrical systems, power distribution, and IT integration.
Experience using Salesforce CRM.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

Secure product and system specifications with M&E consultants, design offices, contractors, and end-users.
Deliver CPD and Lunch & Learn presentations on power quality, energy monitoring, and energy efficiency regulations.
Develop and manage relationships with systems integrators, panel builders, and key channel partners.
Prepare technical quotations and tender submissions based on specifications, schematics, and site surveys.
Track major data centre opportunities and support regional sales teams with technical and commercial expertise.
Conduct customer audits and demonstrate ROI through energy monitoring and efficiency assessments.
