Job summary

Murphy is recruiting for a Design Coordinator to work with the Energy Team on the SSEN ASTI Framework. The role focuses on delivering high quality designs to budget and schedule, coordinating with internal and external teams, and supporting design submissions with CAD tools.

Applicants should have an engineering qualification, civil design experience, and be a member (or working toward membership) of a recognised engineering institution. Benefits include generous holidays, bonus and pension.

Qualifications

• HND or Engineering Degree qualified.
• Experience coordinating design within civil engineering.
• Member of a recognised engineering institution and working toward membership.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Design Manager to deliver high quality designs to budget and programme.
• Prepare briefs/remits for design packages and site investigation/survey packages.
• Coordinate with design and construction teams to deliver buildable designs.
• Review submissions for quality and sufficiency.
• Update design folders and registers regularly.
• Produce minutes and schedules for Design Review Meetings.
