Job summary

Northern Powergrid is recruiting a Connections Administrator to support domestic and small commercial applications from quotation to completion in the United Kingdom (Leeds area). You’ll collaborate with the Connection Technician and Works Coordinator to ensure accurate, timely processing and a seamless customer journey.

The role demands excellent customer service, strong organisational skills, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service-focused approach across the customer journey.
• Strong organisational and time management skills to prioritise workload.
• Attention to detail in line with policies and procedures.
• Minimum 2 A-Levels or Level 3 qualification.

Responsibilities

• Screen applications and progress them to the Connection Technician / Works Coordinator.
• Release schemes with accurate information to enable a smooth customer journey.
• Carry out network checks and follow necessary steps with multiple departments.
• Work across multiple systems to progress requests (service disconnections, diversions, etc.).
• Provide support to colleagues within the connections teams.
• Manage own workload and adjust priorities as volumes change.
• Assist technicians / Works Coordinator to ensure a 10/10 customer experience.
• Support the wider Northern Powergrid team during Major Incidents.
