Job summary

TP ICAP in Belfast is seeking a Business Analyst to support the analysis and delivery of technology and business change across key systems and processes. You will elicit, document and communicate requirements, support workshops, analyse issues and ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.

The role involves working with technology and business teams, leading requirements workshops, and monitoring risks and dependencies to ensure successful project execution and service

Qualifications

• Understanding of the full project lifecycle from requirements to delivery.
• Proven experience operating as a Business Analyst in Financial Services Technology, ideally within an Agile development environment.
• Experience working as a Business Analyst in a technology or financial services environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Service oriented and adaptable and resilient.
• Results oriented and personal accountability.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Business Analysis on Technology projects within the commodities and energy product areas.
• Produce clear documentation to agreed standards to effectively communicate project requirements.
• Agree documented user requirements with business and IT stakeholders,
• Hold and lead requirements gathering and process definition workshops with the business. Monitor, track issues, risks and dependencies on analysis and requirements work
• Ensure Project Manager is kept apprised of the status of the assigned projects and activities
• Track and report issues, risks, and dependencies throughout analysis activities.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to ensure accurate understanding and validation of requirements.
• Assist project managers with status updates, task tracking and project coordination.
• Support responses to operational or Level 3 queries related to assigned systems or processes.
• Help ensure appropriate service levels are maintained to support business needs.
