Job summary

The Environment Centre in Swansea is seeking an Energy Awareness Officer (Trainee) to join the Switched On Energy Awareness Hub. The role offers training opportunities and a fixed-term contract with hybrid working arrangements.

You will help residents by providing impartial energy advice, signposting practical support, and connecting people to specialist services, while developing new skills through mentoring with our energy team.

Qualifications

• Friendly, proactive and motivated individual required.
• City & Guilds Energy Awareness Level 3 training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide impartial energy efficiency advice to Swansea residents.
• Support residents at community events and at The Environment Centre Energy Awareness Hub.
• Signpost practical support and connect people to specialist services.
