Job summary

Axle Energy in the United Kingdom seeks an Analytics Engineer to own and optimise the daily operations of our UK energy trading platform, including asset management, trading across markets and settlements.

You will develop data pipelines, leverage SQL and Python to analyse data, and collaborate with engineering and commercial teams. This role interacts with DSOs and regulators, and offers equity with a competitive base salary within a hybrid working model.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and Python skills for analysing data and automating processes.
• Analytical mindset with ability to communicate insights to cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own operations for our UK energy trading processes (daily trading, settlements).
• Debug complex edge cases across trading, asset registration and settlements.
• Identify risks to revenue and delivery and proactively mitigate them.
• Communicate insights clearly to engineering and commercial teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with DSOs and UK market regulators.
