Job summary

Independent Lives seeks a personal assistant to support our 9-year-old son at home and on outings. You will be energetic, patient, and engaging, providing supervision, play, and gentle care during daily activities.

Hours are 2–4 on Saturdays and 2–4 hours during school holidays, with possible additional days. Driving is an advantage; access to own vehicle is helpful. DBS may be required and you must have the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Must be energetic and patient with a 9-year-old.
• Willing to work Saturdays and holidays.
• Non-smoker preferred.
• UK right to work required.
• DBS check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Entertain child at home and take him to parks.
• Take him to bouncy castle events, swimming, trips.
• Follow safety guidelines and supervise at all times.
• Respect privacy and confidentiality.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness.
• Drive or accompany on outings if needed.
• Be energetic and proactive.
