Job summary

NHS Tayside is seeking a Ward Assistant to support the Endoscopy Unit at Ninewells Hospital. You will help with ward organisation, administrative tasks and housekeeping while contributing to a constantly changing environment.

The role requires good IT skills, excellent communication and the ability to collect data and liaise with procurement. Hours are currently 21.5 per week, Monday to Friday, with flexibility as needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and good IT abilities.
• Data collection and time management skills are important.
• Familiarity with NHS systems (Trakcare, PECOS, SSTS) is beneficial.

• Assist with ward organisation and administrative duties.
• Carry out general clinical and housekeeping duties.
• Data collection and liaison with procurement.
• Support the Endoscopy team and maintain a professional telephone manner.
