Job description

Perform thorough cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of endoscopes and related instruments according to established guidelines.

Inspect endoscopic equipment for damage and functionality; report any issues promptly for repair or replacement.

Maintain accurate documentation of scope reprocessing logs and equipment maintenance records.

Monitor and comply with all infection control procedures, safety regulations, and quality assurance standards.

Maintain accurate records of instrument sterilisation and maintenance.

Inventory and restock sterile supplies as needed.

Collaborate with the endoscopy team to meet surgical equipment needs.

Prioritise patient safety and contribute to the overall quality of healthcare delivery.

Requirements

• Must have at least 6 months’ experience within Endoscopy decontamination
• Right to work in the UK
