Job summary
North Bristol Community Diagnostic Centre in Patchway is seeking a Senior Registered Nurse to lead the Endoscopy team at North Bristol CDC. The role is full-time, four days per week, with flexibility across Monday to Sunday, and opportunities for cross-site development in Bristol's training academy.
You will supervise nurses and support staff, ensure safe, high-quality endoscopy care, and drive competency assessments while maintaining excellent communication with patients and the MDT.
Qualifications
- Registration as a Nurse with a Diploma or Advanced Diploma of Higher Education in Nursing (or equivalent).
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience as Nurse in Charge within Endoscopy or readiness to take on leadership with mentorship.
- Commitment to delivering outstanding patient care and staff development.
Responsibilities
- Lead teams of Registered Nurses and Healthcare Support Workers with clinical guidance.
- Ensure endoscopy services meet high patient safety and care standards.
- Complete and support competency assessments.
- Maintain clear communication with patients, relatives and the MDT.
- Own required statutory and mandatory training.
