Job summary

Practice Plus Group Hospital in the Endoscopy department seeks a registered nurse to join on a zero-hours contract, providing nursing care for endoscopy patients before, during, and after procedures. You will work across pre-assessment, procedure and recovery areas, ensuring high-quality patient care and accurate documentation.

The role requires NMC registration, endoscopy experience, and flexible availability to fit rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with NMC registration and right to work in the UK.
• Endoscopy experience and competence in endoscopy practice.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Flexible to shifts and service requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, individualised nursing care to endoscopy patients.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Support patients undergoing sedated and non-sedated procedures and provide pre/post-procedure advice.
• Maintain accurate patient records using clinical systems and documentation.
• Contribute to clinical governance, audit and quality improvement.
