Job summary

Practice Plus Group is seeking a Bank Healthcare Assistant to support the Endoscopy team. You will welcome patients, assist before/during/after procedures, and help ensure comfort and dignity in a busy clinical setting.

You’ll work with experienced nursing staff in a multidisciplinary environment, performing clinical and administrative duties. This flexible 0-hour contract lets you accept shifts based on availability while delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 2 or equivalent qualification and experience of caring for others.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a busy, demanding environment.
• Professional telephone manner.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming and supporting patients in the Endoscopy department.
• Assisting with personal care and maintaining comfort and dignity.
• Recording observations (BP, pulse, temperature, weight).
• Undertaking urine testing and reporting concerns to nursing staff.
• Supporting nutrition, hydration and mobility needs.
• Assisting with patient positioning and moving and handling.
• Maintaining a clean, safe clinical environment.
• Supporting stock management and administrative processes.
• Collaborating with colleagues to deliver high-quality patient care.
