Job summary

Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is expanding its Endoscopy Unit at Wycombe Hospital in High Wycombe. We are seeking a Band 5 nurse to support daily operations, assist with procedures, and provide safe patient care within a 7-day service. The role offers flexible working and opportunities for professional development.

Registered nurses with Endoscopy experience are welcome or those willing to learn; training and competency development are provided within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with NMC PIN or awaiting PIN.
• Evidence of further continued professional development.
• Working towards an NMC approved mentoring qualification.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day running of the Endoscopy Unit.
• Assist Endoscopist with procedures and equipment after appropriate training.
• Ensure nursing care is delivered safely and effectively.
• Liaise with other health care professionals and document patient needs.
• Enter data accurately into the Endoscopy reporting system.
