Job summary

The Royal Berkshire Endoscopy Unit is seeking a Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our modern, well-equipped department in Reading. You will support endoscopy procedures and patient care for day cases, in-patients and emergencies. Training will be provided, with a commitment to continuous improvement and teamwork.

We are looking for reliable and flexible staff to support a busy service open Monday to Saturday 08:00 to 18:30, with opportunities to develop in line with the trust's CARE values.

Qualifications

• Acute nursing experience preferred
• Endoscopy or gastro ward experience is advantageous
• Willingness to undertake training and development

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering endoscopy procedures with patient care
• Contribute to maintaining high-quality, patient-focused care in a busy unit
• Support continuous improvement and training initiatives within the Endoscopy Unit
