Job summary

CHEC is expanding its endoscopy services in the UK and seeks an Endoscopy Lead Practitioner to support the hospital manager. You will guide the team, ensure governance, and uphold high standards of care while contributing to JAG accreditation efforts.

The role requires leadership, at least 1 year in endoscopy, and registration with NMC/HCPC. A full-time 37.5-hour week with weekend coverage supports CHEC’s growth plans and public health service delivery.

Qualifications

• Registered practitioner with regulatory body (NMC/HCPC).
• Experience in endoscopy service management.
• Educated to degree level or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support hospital management to ensure high governance and clinical standards in Endoscopy.
• Lead and motivate the endoscopy team in day-to-day operations.
• Ensure equipment and resources are available for sessions and maintenance of traceability.
